GENERAL SUMMARY


This position is responsible for management of an experiential marketing team, including the oversight and execution of experiential marketing initiatives.  Additionally, this role supports the LDA Experiential Director in a leadership role.

 

The Management Supervisor is a key contributor to experiential operations including strategic development, planning, execution, and analysis of all experiential marketing initiatives in the Western US.  The Management Supervisor is specifically accountable for mentoring, daily team support, and collaborating with ancillary stakeholders and support teams. Works with LDA Experiential Director to maximize efficiencies and explore opportunities for improvement and growth.

 

Extensive interaction with other agency teams and daily contact with clients, experiential partners, and outside vendors.

 

Preferred to have experience in automotive and/or luxury brand experiential marketing, promotions and strategic partnerships.  Must exhibit leadership skills with the ability to guide, nurture and grow the junior staff within the department.

Manage a collection of experiential initiatives occurring simultaneously in different markets.
Manage multiple ongoing projects across multiple teams and stakeholders

 

Research and develop new and relevant initiatives that meet client’s objectives

 

Develop and maintain beneficial and productive working relationships with clients, partners, and vendors

 

Manage program budgets and finances

 

 Manage and mentor junior staff

 

Travel, when necessary, for site-checks/inspections, meetings and experiential events around the country

 

Continue to grow and evolve the Experiential Marketing discipline, increasing the team’s profile within the agency, and to clients, and within the greater marketing communications community

 

             

Experience:    Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in an advertising agency or event marketing environment required.

 

Education: A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

 

Skills and Abilities: This person must be highly organized with a strong attention to detail.  Charismatic and varied communication style and able to build relationships both internal and external at varying professional levels. Self-starter/entrepreneurial and also a team player. Strategic thinker. Strong presentation and writing skills.  Understands the automotive business; be objective (understands client’s strategic needs).  Excellent project management and organizational skills.  Has an attitude that nothing is impossible; is flexible, multi-tasking at high level of accuracy.  Understands the importance of processes and procedures.  Self-confident, poised and tactful; fun and creative, brings new ideas and solutions to programs.  Not afraid to fail.  Shows good judgment in assessing when to notify LDA Experiential Director of issues.  Ability to review and provide written opinion for various proposals and opportunities.  Professional demeanor and dress.  Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint.  Ability to work on many tasks simultaneously while maintaining high-level of accuracy.  Ability to make independent but informed decisions; always keeping the LDA Experiential Director informed.
