Assist in the development, day to day maintenance, and accurate revisions of digital media plans for the Lexus National account. This requires strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail/accuracy due to depth and breadth of client’s media commitments. The person in this role must effectively communicate the status of projects to Assistant Media Planners (AMP)/ Media Supervisor (MS) and Associate Media Director (AMD).


Day to Day:

Pre-Planning & Planning Process:

  • Assist in the digital media pre-planning & planning process
    • Gather and analyze research and 3rd party data such as: syndicated research (ex. – Comscore, eMarketer, etc), and digital trends for RFP list development
    • Assist in development of digital site recommendations and ideas for key Lexus initiatives such as launches and sales events
    • Provide POV on partner/media inventory selections
  • Serve as day to day point of contact with the Assistant Media Planners regarding responsibilities such as partner negotiations, media performance tracking, and billing management


Implementation & Execution:

  • Issue and revise media authorizations to the clients
  • Review, issue and manage campaign insertion orders with publishers
  • Input campaign billing in management system
  • Implement campaigns into third-party ad-server via the Google DoubleClick tool
    • Live site check on campaign launch days
    • 3rd Party ad-server check
  • Work with and provide necessary documents to Account/Traffic/Production for implementation of schedules
  • Work with AMPs to pull screenshots for all media placements for proof of performance for the client
  • Assist with providing production team specification information and following up with questions



  • Own campaign reporting for the client and within the agency
    • Data pulls from 3rd Party ad-server for performance and optimization reporting
    • Interpret 3rd party data and studies
    • Develop integrated performance analysis throughout and recap each campaign



  • Issue weekly documents and maintenance reporting to clients and within the agency
  • Assist in digital budget reconciliation for monthly issue of Ad Plan/client billing
    • Review billing estimates and insertion orders monthly for accurate administration
    • Maintain flowcharts and billing records for monthly distribution to client
    • Resolve billing discrepancies with digital publishers and SSNY Resources department


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate efforts with other media and agency teams (Broadcast/OOH, Print) on various projects
  • Generate ideas to support an “Ideas Culture” agency (e.g. internal idea for the agency or department, media idea that meets a client objective)
  • Participate in training and educational courses as needed


Bachelor’s degree is required.


Skills and Abilities:
This person must be highly organized, with a charismatic and varied communication style. Must have excellent time management skills.  Computer literacy is mandatory (Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint), as well as media tool familiarity with Media Ocean, DoubleClick Manager, as well as research tools such as Nielson Netratings, and comScore.  Must have an aptitude for accuracy and details. Must have ability to work independently and juggle/ prioritize projects.  Must have a positive attitude, be creative and contribute toward building a cohesive team.


One to three years of experience in Digital Media preferred.  Excellent understanding of the Internet (websites, apps, navigation, etc), Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat), Programmatic, and general knowledge of new digital technologies (VR, AR, AI, DMPs).
