GENERAL SUMMARY

The  Product Insights Manager gathers, processes, and distributes detailed vehicle information for all Lexus vehicles. This information supports the success of projects across Broadcast, Interactive and Print mediums. The Product Insights Manager is responsible for product reviews and accuracy for owned carlines.

 

Day to Day:

On a project by project basis the Product Insights Manager:

Meets with Account and Production to gather information for projects
Provides job specs to car prep vendors for the purpose of obtaining estimates
Coordinates with client to procure needed Lexus vehicles, and modify vehicles as needed
Monitors progress of production and prepare any addendums and report vehicle damage
Follows up with car prep company at completion of production to ensure complete restoration and return of vehicles to Lexus
Maintain files and records of Lexus and competitive products
Work with Producers, Account Managers, Strategists and Creative teams to ensure product accuracy
Maintains existing extensive photo-reference database
Pro-actively researches Lexus superiorities/claims versus competitive vehicles
Review all materials produced for product accuracy

 

Experience:

A passion for the automobiles and the ability to learn how vehicles – and their subsystems – work are the primary requirements. Prior experience in product information or account management is a big plus. It is vital that this person is an effective communicator and is capable of making technical information readily understandable to non-technical people. Also must have excellent organizational skills and perform under challenging deadlines.

 

Education:  

Preferably has a 4-year degree (Bachelor’s degree) from an accredited university or college. Degree in Communications, Advertising, Marketing or equivalent is a plus.
