GENERAL SUMMARY

The Planner will be the day-to-day strategic leader across a number of motorcycle specific accounts. They will be responsible for having complete knowledge of the brand, product line-up and larger motorcycle ecosystem. Team members will use them as a resource on a daily basis to guide creative development, media placements and research efforts. The candidate needs to have the ability to work independently after taking direction from senior team members. Above all, the ideal Planner will show an immense propensity to enthusiastically take on any strategic, creative or administrative assignments asked of her or him.

 

­­­  Day to Day:

  • Conducting market and consumer research
  • Keeping up to date on the motorcycle news and cultural trends
  • Developing creative briefs and providing strategic feedback throughout the creative process
  • Educating all team members on the product, company, brand and motorcycle industry
  • Designing and creating presentation materials for both internal and external audiences
  • Building and analyzing data sets on market trends and consumer information
  • Providing minimal administrative assistance to senior members of team
  • Heavy reading

Experience:  

  • Minimum 3 years account management experience in advertising or related business is required.
  • 1-2 years’ experience with Digital, Media and CRM is preferred.
  • Automotive experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Leading projects with little to no supervision is preferred.
  • Presentation development experience is a plus. 

 

Education:  2-3 years of experience in the branding or market research field

 

Skills and Abilities: This person must be highly organized, with a charismatic and varied communication style. Familiar with both online and offline work. Juggles priorities with boundaries on behalf of both the agency and client. Communicates skillfully. Appreciates creative and design aesthetics.   Scrappy—willing and capable of working with limited resources. Collaborative—strong desire to share the creative process with others.    Adaptive—rolls with the punches and can learn quickly.
