The Account Supervisor will serve as a direct client liaison for Lexus social media marketing, managing Lexus social media campaigns and overseeing daily management and assist with long-term strategy for Lexus social media channels. Responsibilities to include overseeing social media content development and cross-channel editorial planning, consulting on paid social media campaigns, developing strategic POV’s and recommendations, and integrating with Lexus’ other marketing efforts. This role will collaborate with teams across the agency to ensure that social media content and strategy aligns with Lexus’ larger brand objectives and that social media innovations and best practices are implemented across integrated campaigns.

­­­Day to Day:

Client Management:

  • Maintain daily contact and build relationships with clients at multiple levels and key business partners.
  • Supervise client social media initiatives, including, but not limited to, business-building, strategic, media and creative projects. 
  • Supervise junior team members; inspire, motivate, train and mentor as appropriate.
  • Play a substantive role in major presentations to clients, including project, quarterly and annual planning, selling creative and integrated campaign initiatives.   
  • Provide guidance to clients, assisting them with any aspects of digital marketing. Be willing to engage clients on difficult issues.

Project Initiation and Scope:

  • Define project parameters and client needs.
  • Manage client expectations regarding timing, schedules and process.

Project Communication and Integration:

  • Take responsibility for overall communication to the client and of the client’s business.
  • Manage client communications, providing insight to agency team members across multiple office locations regarding client business and project-specific needs.
  • Close collaboration with counterparts in multiple agency office locations (Dallas and Los Angeles) and disciplines (event marketing, media, creative, advertising account management, direct marketing, etc.) to provide fully integrated marketing communications for clients.
  • Collaborate with creative & strategy teams regarding project strategic direction and integration.
  • Manage ongoing communication with clients, including client meeting minutes, next step clarification, schedules, status updates and approvals.
  • Consult with appropriate stakeholders and subject-matter experts in the idea development process.

Project Assignments and Scope:

  • Develop assignment briefs and presentations in partnership with strategic planning.
  • Oversee upcoming workload and development calendar with known or potential projects.
  • Account for overall project budgets and scope.

Project Approvals and Quality:

  • Guide the work through client approval process.
  • Champion agency process to ensure quality of work.
  • Obtain formal approval from client on estimate(s).

Project Tracking and Metrics:

  • Participate in and gain full working knowledge of project metrics.
  • Understand metrics evaluation.
  • Stay aware of project dashboard.


Experience:  Minimum 5-7 years of advertising experience or relevant communications role(s)

Education: A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Skills and Abilities: Candidate MUST demonstrate an incredibly high-level understanding of the entire digital and social media marketing landscape, including knowledge of trends and emerging platforms, campaign administration and reporting tools and social media advertising products. Must be capable of working as part of an integrated team while also maintaining individual priorities and tasks. Strong account management skills required.
