GENERAL SUMMARY
The Assistant Account Executive plays an important role in developing national sponsorship programs and partnerships that are strategic, innovative and on budget.  Interfaces with the client on a daily basis and must be articulate, polished, possess good judgment, have in-depth knowledge about the client’s business and show enthusiasm for the work.  Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and accuracy are a must.

Initiates work orders and begins creative development and/or production process in the agency.  Facilitates implementation of projects. 

Day to Day:

  • Update Account Supervisor /Account Executive on status of Dallas lead projects/answering client inquiries.
  • Works with Project Manager to ensure there is legal follow through for all creative work prior client presentation.
  • Forward estimates to Account Supervisor/Account Executive for signature and distribution to all parties
  • Responsible for reviewing accuracy of budget codes and retrieving client signature on estimates.
  • Assist Account Supervisor / Account Executive in the development and execution of print, radio, online banners, digital asset creation, and outdoor; begins to attend print shoots, OOH test posts, and understanding of broadcast production.
  • Work with account team to prepare and produce special projects and materials for client presentations – including but not limited to leading creative resizes or revisions such as MY updates and sustain initiatives.
  • Update status of respective projects.
  • Attends campaign or initiative based status meetings.
  • Oversee and initiates opening of work orders/job change orders.
  • Maintain weekly client status reports and conference reports.
  • Manage and coordinate all arrangements for client meetings, including set-up, multi-media needs, and catering along with AC and AE.
  • Works with project manager to ensure meeting recaps are sent to all parties.
  • Initiate and issue conference reports (under supervision of Account Supervisor).
  • Stewardship activities include Dallas lead National and LDA production budget management and maintaining quarterly competitive reports.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year entry-level Account Management position (i.e. Administrative Assistant or Account Coordinator).

Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required.

Skills and Abilities: This person must be highly organized, with a charismatic and varied communication style and professional writing abilities.  Excellent presentation and communication skills are required; attention to detail is necessary; organizational abilities preferred; Excel, PowerPoint skills required; positive attitude; drive to learn; dedication; hard-worker.  Ability to work in a fast paced environment, and have proficient multi-tasking skills.  Ability to prioritize workload is required. Ability to present him/herself professionally is crucial.
